TAHSIN AL-QURAN

Assalamualaikum wbt and hello everyone. Today I want to share with you guys about my experience in joining a programme named "Let's Tahsin" which organized by JKQ Club IIUM on 12th December 2020 (Friday). This programme was held only using the google meet platform because of the Covid-19 situation right now. The special speaker invited was Ustaz Mohd Zakiuddin Bin Hanafi who was a lecturer at Kolej Pengajian Islam Johor and also an Imam at Masjid Kolam Ayer Johor Bharu. Actually, this programme was really good for us because many new information and knowledge that we get. It also help us to improve our way on how we read the verses of Quran with the correct makhraj, the correct pronunciation of the words and more. Besides, Ustaz Zakiuddin also have share with us his experience about how he teach his students. He is very strict when in comes to read Al-Quran because he want to make sure everyone understand why we need to read the Quran with proper reading. It is because when we read with the wrong makhraj or pronunciation, it will bring to another meaning of that words. That's why it is very important. Thus, I think this programme was really interesting and it provides many benefits. In future, I hope there will be more this kind of programme that will be held,  so that more people can join it and also me as I want to improve myself in learning about Al-Quran.
